Starter List of Ping Servers for ExpressionEngine

Unlike Wordpress, ExpressionEngine doesn’t have any ping servers pre-installed, if you will - you’ve got to manually enter them yourself (Admin > Section Administration > Default Ping Servers). Ping servers, by the way, are used to alert search engines that new content has been posted to your blog. Keeping a blog doesn’t do you much good if nobody knows about it - hence the importance of “pinging” ping servers.

A quick Google search reveals that there are a lot of outdated lists of ping servers, and some of them are quite long. Here’s a small starter list of current ping servers:

  • http://rpc.pingomatic.com
  • http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping

How do you handle ping servers in ExpressionEngine? Have any more to add to the list?

Where can you see the results of the pings after you post a new entry to the blog?

I’m assuming that if you don’t see any errors after the submission that everything went through correctly, but that’s all I have.

When you are in the corner and have got no cash to get out from that point, you will require to take the credit loans. Just because that should help you for sure. I take college loan every year and feel myself fine because of this.
